When official global summits about our current climate crisis, like the UN’s Conference of the Parties, the supreme decision-making body of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, continue to tip-toe around animal agriculture -the leading driver of deforestation, biodiversity loss, and ocean degradation- the global vegan community takes the lead into its own hands.
For years, Climate Healers has been calling attention to this irony, even launching The Cow in the Room -a play on words for the elephant in the room. They’ve also started V-COP, a vegan version of the UN’s COP. This July 25–26, 2026, changemakers, scientists, activists, and compassionate leaders from every corner of the globe are coming together online for V-COP 26: Vegan Convergence of the Peoples.
Under the guidance of visionary systems engineer Dr. Sailesh Rao, the V-COP gatherings were born as a direct, grassroots answer to the failures of top-down climate policy. This 26th landmark convergence centers on a single, compelling theme: Vitally Engaged in the PolySolution.

We hear a lot about the PolyCrisis, the terrifying intersection of climate disruption, mass extinction, soil erosion, zoonotic risks, and human health crises. But as Dr. Rao points out, interconnected problems require a PolySolution.
We cannot heal the atmosphere while continuing to slaughter 80 billion land animals and trillions of marine lives each year. Conversely, transitioning from animal agriculture would free up over 75% of global agricultural land, opening the door to massive natural rewilding and immediate carbon drawdown.
