PROGRESS! New animal protection regulations have been passed in France that ban mink farming, and the use of wild animals in circuses, television shows, nightclubs and private parties. They also will raise the maximum penalty for mistreating animals and tighten restrictions on the sale of pets.
This is great news, but sadly not all the issues animal rights campaigners wanted to be included in the new law made it in the end — such as a ban on bullfighting and foie grass production. 🌱
