Cattle Farm Transforms Into Vegan Animal Sanctuary?!

Edith Barabash is a shining example of how one person’s commitment to living kindly can have a massive snowball effect. Together with former cattle rancher Mike Lanigan, she helped transform what was once a beef farm into the vegan animal sanctuary, Farmhouse Garden Animal Home. In this interview she shares her inspiring story and the challenges they have faced along the way. A must-watch for any would-be sanctuary owners.

“There’s a lot of humane-washing that goes on when it comes to selling meat and people unfortunately often fall for it without realizing what it entails. A slaughterhouse is a slaughterhouse no matter how humane they call it. An animal comes in whole and comes out chopped to pieces. Nothing great can really go on in there.”
