A sentient being, innocent and helpless, trapped in the truck that will take him to the slaughterhouse, the worst place in the world.
We must fight the unconscious spirit of cruelty with which we treat animals. Animals suffer as much as we do. True humanity does not allow us to impose such suffering on others. It is our duty to make the whole world recognize it.
Let no one neglect the weight of responsibility. As long as so many animals continue to be mistreated, as long as the cries of thirsty animals in freight cars are not silenced, as long as such brutality prevails in our slaughterhouses… we will all be to blame. Everything that has life has value as a living being, as a manifestation of the mystery of life.
We must work together to stop this. ✊🌱
