Vigils 💔
“It’s not easy 😔🙏🏻
We are aware that it is not easy to be at the gates of a slaughterhouse for three hours or perhaps a whole day, but we are also sure that we do not want animals to be killed and we will continue to raise awareness and tell their stories.
Many people ask us the reason for the vigils, why to visit a place where you know what you are going to see and it is something horrible. They tell us that we are masochists, that we waste time, that it is no use being there and that we are not going to change anything by doing these actions.
We have it very clear: society is not going to become vegan overnight and the next day the world is not going to wake up vegan. But what we are sure of is that we will continue to appear at the doors of slaughterhouses as long as this barbarity remains. We will continue to tell their stories and we will not let them be in vain.”
