Kiska was taken from her family in the Icelandic ocean when she was 3 years old and held prisoner for “entertainment” at Marineland, Canada 😔⁠

She was no longer performing, but still kept to be seen by visitors, and her health had started declining in the last year particularly 😰⁠

So many have fought for her release throughout the years under the claim “Free Kiska”, but in vain. Her death does mark the end of orca captivity in Canada 👏⁠
