More than 70 billion chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and quail are exploited and killed each year, making “poultry” birds the largest group of land animals raised for human consumption globally.

Most of them live crammed into spaces so confined that they cannot spread their wings, with little to no access to light and natural air, on top of their excrement, and cohabiting with the corpses of their companions who cannot bear the harsh conditions in which they were forced to live.

All this for meat, eggs and feathers that do not belong to us and that we do not need. If it seems unfair and cruel to you, why finance it?
