Witness over 100 animals being rescued from a backyard butcher in this heart-warming video.

Peacefield Farm Sanctuary were initially told it would be one hen and three cows, but what they discovered was beyond their imagination.

Over 100 animals, mostly birds of all ages and sizes, were suffering in deplorable conditions. Some were so dehydrated that they resorted to drinking blood off the floor. It was a nightmarish situation, resembling a hoarding situation mixed with a backyard butcher operation, all happening illegally while being falsely labeled as humane, local, organic, and free-range.

Peacefield Farm Sanctuary managed to rescue all of these animals, finding them loving homes and sanctuaries. Peacefield Farm Sanctuary personally adopted 20 hens, giving them a chance at a new life.
