Shrimp is a rooster who was rescued the day before he was going to be sent to killed. Basil is a hen who had to have her leg amputated and was on a cart resting up. Watch Shrimp run to Basil EVERY morning to greet her. 🐔☀️

Shrimp is the sweetest rooster you’ll ever meet. Attentive, curious, smart, and loving, he cares for and protects Basil with such care. ❤️
