Today is World Egg Day, but this is not a day to celebrate, but to become aware and start acting.

More than 6 billion chickens are exploited by the egg industry. 💔🥚

In addition to spending their entire lives caged, overcrowded, in many cases without access to natural light and with their basic needs violated, these birds are killed at 2 or 3 years of age when they are still very young.

We can all stop paying for their suffering. Don’t be an accomplice, go vegan. 🌱
