Why Don’t We Care About Octopuses? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’”

Octopuses in so many ways, are alien to us. 🐙

This may be one of the reasons why our empathy for them can be so low that we cannot even recognise – or don’t even care – when they are suffering, afraid, or fighting for their life right in front of our eyes. 👀

But just because we can’t relate to them, doesn’t mean we can do what we want to them. According to sciencedaily.com, octopuses experience emotions such as curiosity in exploration, affection for individuals, and excitement in anticipation of a future reward. 🥺

They are individuals, and their lives matter to them. We don’t have to eat them either. This should bring us to the logical conclusion – that we should leave them alone. 🐙💔

Respect animals by living vegan. 💚
