Wild Animals Belong in the Wild:
Pledge Not to Visit Zoos & Aquariums!
Thank you for signing our pledge! Check out these other ways you can help support related causes:
SIGN: Stop the Construction of the World’s First Commercial Octopus Farm!
Octopuses are incredible creatures and should be treated with love and kindness, not imprisoned and slaughtered. They should never be stuck inside tanks, raised on farms, eaten, or abused in any way.
CONTACT: Save Lolita, the Oldest Living Killer Whale in the United States’ Smallest Tank!
A four year-old killer whale named Tokitae was brutally taken from her mother in the Puget Sound and brought to the Miami Seaquarium where she was placed in a 35 foot wide tank and renamed ‘Lolita.” She has lived there ever since.
CONTACT: Help #FreeHappy the Elephant from Bronx Zoo!
Happy has now spent 44 years imprisoned at the Bronx Zoo and it is time for her to be sent to an elephant sanctuary where she can live in a way that allows her to regain the freedom that was stolen from her so long ago.
SIGN: Demand the Release of Lonely Asha the Elephant to Sanctuary!
Asha the elephant hasn’t seen another elephant in decades, living in solitary confinement at the Natural Bridge Zoo (NBZ) since she turned one year old.
CONTACT: Enact a ban on Traveling Zoos and Circuses in your location!
Wild animals used in circuses and traveling acts endure severe abuse and neglect. Help protect these animals by passing a ban on the use of animals in circuses and traveling acts in your own city and county!
CONTACT: Complain to DEFRA about animal suffering at aquariums!
Thousands of fish and other animals are kept in aquariums in Great Britain, and recent investigations found overcrowded tanks, ill health, and unnecessary deaths.
SIGN: Shut Down SeaQuest Aquariums for Ongoing Animal Welfare Violations!
SeaQuest is consistently in the news for state and federal animal welfare violations involving hazardous conditions for animals, staff, and visitors alike. Please urge the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to finally shut down all SeaQuest interactive aquarium and petting zoo locations and pledge to never visit these dangerous facilities yourself!
Please also consider making a donation to help us continue our life-saving work on behalf of animals everywhere. Together, we can make a huge difference!
