On 20th June 2026, Bristol Vegan Fayre will return to the Document venue in St Jude’s, Bristol, England, for a Summer Solstice celebration centred on vegan living and plant‑based food, marking the 23rd year of this iconic event in the city’s cultural calendar. VegfestUK, the organisers, expect thousands of visitors to enjoy a full day of plant‑based cuisine, talks, entertainment, and activism stalls, all gathered under one roof in the heart of Bristol.

Entertainment will be central once more, with two outdoor stages hosting live music, DJs, and comedy throughout the day. The organisers emphasise the mix of seriousness and joy that characterises the event, saying, “It is the Summer Solstice, and we have some brilliant live acts, terrific playlists and DJ sets running throughout the day, with something for everyone. We are also joined by some top comedians too.”
Two dedicated talk rooms, one on Plant‑Based Lifestyles and one on Animal Rights & Activism, will host presentations from former professional footballer Simon Clist, Chair of the Hunt Saboteurs Association Simon Russell, animal rights investigator Gemunu de Silva, vegan author Jordi Cassamitjana, and campaigning groups including Animal Aid, Viva!, and Little Green Pigeon. The programme also features a Vegan Business Mastermind panel for independent vegan businesses, a fireside chat with author John King about his new book on undercover investigations into animal testing laboratories, and a headline talk from vet Dr Arielle Griffiths of Just Be Kind Dog & Cat Food, one of the sponsors of the event (together with Vegan Accountants, The Great Vegan Gathering, Mad Promotions, and Yaoh).
Up to 90 independent traders, campaign groups, and animal sanctuaries are set to showcase the resilience and creativity of the UK’s growing vegan community, with independent vegan traders and family businesses placed firmly at the heart of the fayre. Tickets are already available for sale.
