A Trojan Horse for Animal Rights
Many films have exposed the horrors of animal agriculture, but Cooked with Love takes a revolutionary approach. Disguised as a gripping psychological thriller, this theatrical feature subtly challenges the moral foundations of meat-eating audiences without them realizing it at first. Despite its powerful animal rights message, Cooked with Love isn’t labeled as a “vegan film.” Its thrilling narrative lures in even the most staunch meat-eaters, subtly planting seeds of change.
Written, directed, and produced by Bruno Bilandzija, the film doesn’t just inform; it transforms. Using advanced psychology and neuro-linguistic programming, Cooked with Love immerses viewers in the protagonist’s journey, making them feel the hidden suffering behind their food choices. Blending mystery, thriller, and psychological drama, the film mirrors our own cognitive dissonance about eating animals, compelling audiences to reach their own epiphanies instead of preaching about veganism.

Set for release in summer 2025 and produced by VUtopia with just $57,000, Cooked with Love is more than cinema, it’s a wake-up call, a trigger for “animal lovers” who eat animals to question their food choices. VUtopia donates 25% of its earnings to animal rights causes and reinvests the rest into new awakening films. The company also contributes to the rebuilding of war-torn Vukovar, Croatia, by fostering education and sustainable living, and this project is a stepping stone to new, bigger things.
